Hi, I’m Sharon Christiansen, the face behind Sharon The Love Photography. 

I have poured my heart into working with families and individuals to personalize their sessions with one common goal; to capture life and love in each image. Through the years I've gained invaluable experience that has allowed me to provide the highest quality results. When we grow old, photos remind us of how we once looked, and how we felt in that period of our life. When times get tough, photos let us re-live those times and continue to be inspired by future hopes and dreams. Photos are the only thing that lives on and gives us a visual reminder of the most important thing in our life- each other!

I draw inspiration from my family, whom I love to request photos from when the mood strikes. We enjoy being outside, taking hikes and enjoying the many parks and public areas our county has to offer. I take this knowledge and apply towards my family sessions, finding optimal locations for each client's needs. With the beautiful mountains just north of us, Lake Lanier nearby, private farms with greenhouses, and several charming quaint shopping districts, there are so many lovely options for photography. 

I am a Georgia native, but also lived many years on the NC coast in the Wilmington and Topsail Beach areas. I pursued a degree in Interior Design and I still to this day love art and design. I worked in the hotel interior design and interior planning industry until 2009 when I settling into my role as mother of three babies in three years. This is when my love for photography began.

I currently shoot with a mirrorless Canon R5 and love the crisp sharp images this gives, along with the beautiful background blur. I have several interchangeable lenses I use that give several options to meet the clients needs. I look forward to capturing special moments for your family as your photographer!
